Mouse In The Miseltoe

I have recently read a book called 'Mouse In The Miseltoe'. The book was written by Lucy Daniels. This was a mystery book and was set in a Garden Centre at Christmas time.

The book had text that was easy to read. The book had a terrific storyline that kept both me a nd my eight year old daughter hooked. I loved reading this book to her. Were we hooked to the story? Yes

The book was all about Mandy and James. Mandy and James loved animals. Mandy and James were trying to organise a christmas party for all the animals that are patients at Mandy's parents Vetinery Surgery. Mandy and James were at the local Garden Centre to ask Mr Pennell if he had any decorations left over from making the holly wreaths which he could donate to help them decorate the village hall for the party. Mandy and James met one of their school friends called Sara at the Garden Centre. Sara had stopped at the Garden Centre to visit Santa's grotto with her litte sister Sara had her pet mouse Muffin with her. Sara was on her way to visit the vet with Muffin. Sara was being annoyed by some older boys who wanted to se Muffin. Unknown to anyone the older boys had managaed to let Muffin out of her cage. Muffin was now missing in the Garden Centre with a cat named Mungo on the prowl. Did Muffin manage to evade being captured by Mungo the guard cat and be reunited with Sara in time for Christmas? Read the book and find out is all that i can say.

I give this book a star rating of five. This was a fantastic book which could be enjoyed by the whole family.

Just Rewards

I have recently read a book called 'Just Rewards'. Just Rewards was written by Barbara Taylor Bradford. The book was a family related story aand it followed Emma Harte's heir in her bid to save eveything that Emma Harte had created.

The book had text that was easy to read and understand. The book had a very gripping storyline. I was never sure what would happen to this family next.

The book was all about Linnet O'neill. Linnet was the heir to Emma Harte. Linnet wanted to bring the Harte store into the twenty first centuary by introducing new materials and ideas such as a health spa aand a wedding boutique. Everytime Linnet suggested making changes to the stores her mother Paula who was head of the Harte Dynasty always put a stop to them. When Paula sadly became ill, Linnet was left to run the business and take care of everything. Linnet began to find things difficult as not only was she battling to save what her great grandmother Emma Harte had created but she had an upset sister named Tessa do dea with to. Tessa thought that she had the right to take over the business but when Tessa discovered that her boyfriend was missing in Afghanistan she soon had more things to worry her. Linnet's cousin Evan who was expecting twins brought more sorrpw to their troubles when she announced that Angharad, Evan's adopted sister had began making trouble for the family because Angharad had began a relationship with the Harte's most deadliest enemy Jonathon Ainsley. Did Linnet, Tessa and Evan manage to pull together and make the Harte empire to be a continuing success? I would suggest that you read the book and find out. It was a fantastic story and it had a fantastic ending.

The book deserves a of five. It was a book that had a gripping storyline and the most amazing ending. I would recommend this book to anyone. Happy reading!
