Sabrina Fludde

Over the weekend i started reading such an unusual book. The book was callled 'Sabrina Fludde'. The book was written by Pauline Fisk. The book had a mystery and adventure storyline.

The book had text that was easy to read and understand. The storyline was exciting and it always kept you guessing. I was unable to put it down.

The book was about Abren, a young girl who had no idea why she ended up floating up the river and nobody came to help her. Abren was forced to sleep in a boarded up picture house. On the night of halloween she was invited to spend the night with the Bytheway family afetr being chased by the Border Commandos. As the book goes on you learn more about Abren's struggle to get her memory back and to survive on the streets with no money for food and nowhere to sleep. Abren was attacked by the Border Commandos again and ended up being pulled from the river again by a young chap named Phaze ll . Phase ll invited Abren to stay with him in a shelter that he had made into a home for himself. Phase ll and Abren were found by he police and were taken to live with foster parents but were they ever to get the happy ending they wanted so badly?

This was an unusual book, too many things going on at once but still, it deserves a rating of four it was well written and easy to read.
