Undomesticated Goddess

I have recently read a book called 'Undomesticated Goddess'. The book was written by Sophie Kinsella. The book was a romance novel and it was a a fantastic book to read.

The book had text that was easy to read and understand. The storyline kept you hooked from the very first page. I was never sure if Samantha was to get a happy ending or if her second chance was about to fail aswell.

The book was all about Samantha. Samantha was a top lawyer in London. Samantha worked all hours and had no social life. Samantha had only one care in her life and that was becoming a partner in the Carter Spink Law firm. Samantha went into work one morning to find a case file on her desk that was meant to be sorted out a few weeks back. Samantha hadn't dealt with the case and cost the clients over £50 million pounds. Samantha had nade a terrible mistake and she thought that it was about to lose her the career that she had worked so hard to make for herself. Samantha couldn't face going to work so she got on a train. Samantha stayed on the train as long as she could. When Samantha finally got off the train she was miles away from home with nowhere to go and she had a terrible headache. Samantha knocked on the door of a tiny cottage and when the lady answers she assumes that Samantha was there for the interview. The interview was for the job as the lady's housekeeper. Samantha finds herself accepting the job despite not being able to cook, clean or use an iron or washing machine. With the help of the gardener Samantha soon learns to cook and clean and how to work the washing machine. Samantha even learned to use the iron. Afetr falling in love with the gardner and her new life Samantha was soon to discover that she could have been set up and that the mistake that had ruined her career may not have been her fault. Did Samnatha evder learn the truth and get her career as a top Londo lawyer back on track. I suggest that you read the book and find out it was a great book to read.

This book desrves a rating of five. It was a really good book to read and it had a fantastic ending.
