Bindi Babes

I have recently read a book called ' Bindi Babes'. The book was a quick read book and was written by Narinder Dharni. The book covered a family tragedy and everyday family life.

The book had text that was easy to read and understand. The book had a very gripping storyline that had me hooked from the very first page.

The book was all about three sisters called Geena, Amber and Jazz. Geena , Amber and Jazz had their young life's turned upside down when their mother tragically died leaving their father to look after them.  The girl's father was struggling to hold down a job, run the house and look after the girls properly.  The girls father decided to ask the girls' auntie to come and stay and help him get back on track.  Geena, Amber and Jazz didn't want auntie there and theywb ere going to make sure that she wasn't going to stay. Geena, Amber and Jazz hatched many plans to try and get rid of auntie, they tried everything from putting extra spices in the Pakora to marrying auntie off to their school teacher but nothing they tried seemed to be helping them with getting rid of Auntie. After school one day the girls returned home to an empty house after auntie and their father had argued and auntie had left.  the girls were in their parents bedroom when they came across a box of letter that belonged to their mother. The three girls were reading the letter that their mother had written to auntie that asked her to come and help their father if and when he needed her. The three girls felt terribly guilty about everything that they had put auntie through since she arrived. Geena, Amber and Jazz decided that they wanted Auntie to stay and they set off to try and find her.  Did the three girls manage to find and convince auntie to stay before it was too late? I would suggest that you read the book and find out it really is a fantastic book to read.
