Deep Heat

I have recently read a book called ' Deep Heat'. Deep Heat was written by Chris Manby. This was a romance novel and it was a fantastic book to read. It is a book that i would recommend reading to anyone.

The book had text that was easy to read and to understand. The storyline had me hooked from the very first page. I was unable to put the book down. The ending to this story was amazing.

The book was all about Ali Harris. Ali Harris was doing her last minute christmas shopping on christmas eve. Ali Harris cannot remamber much afetr the fruit and veg aile in Safeway as she collapsed when her appendix burst. Ali was drifting in and out of conciousness and was in terrible pain.  Ali was rushed to hospital on christmas eve. Ali spent christmas day and night and many more nights in hospital after having her appendix removed. Ali was feeling vulnerable and lonely with being in hospital on christmas day.  Ali was made to feel even worse when her fiance came to visit, he told Ali that he was going to go to the party that night and that he was going to try and sell the ticket that they had bought for Ali to someone else. With everyone out enjoying themselves, Ali was alone in hospital unable to sleep all she could do was read a magazine. Ali was weiry and tired buut while she was reading the Complete Women magazine a competition caught her eye. United Kingdom's Most Romantic Couple? Was that Ali and David? Ali thought so and filled out the competition entry slip and asked the nurse to post it for her in the morning. After another few days in hospital Ali hadn't heard from David or had a visit from him and she was beginning to0 think that something was up. Ali soon discovered why David hadn't been to visit her in hospital, David had started to see one of his ex girlfriends again after meeting her atthe christmas eve party.  Ali soon discovered that the Most Romantic Couple competition was infact won by herself and David. Ali knew that she should inform the magazine about her break up from david but could Ali really allow herself to miss out on an amazing holiday? Ali made a huge decision but was it the right decisison? I would suggest that you read this book it really is a fantastic book to read.
