The Perfect Holiday

I have recently read a book called ' The Perfect Holiday'. The book was written by Cathy Kelly.  The book was a part of the quick read collection. The quick read collection is many short stories that fantastic storylines.

The book had text that was easy to read and understand.  The book had a very gripping storyline, i was hooked from the very first page.

The book was all about Anthony and Claire.  Claire and Anthony went on a relaxing holiday to try and help them repair their marrige. Anthony and Claire had seperated becuse Anthony was always putting alcohol before Claire and at times he would put it before himself. Claire was always phoning the work the next after Anthony got drunk to say that he was ill, again having to lie for him. Claire went to parties alone and lied that Anthony was working becuse she didn't want to say that he was in bed with a hangover or was already drunk. Claire was living with the fact that Anthony's drinking had got worse over the last few years. Claire decided that the night Anthony had got drunk and wet the bed that she had had enough. Claire told Anthony that she was leaving and that she couldn't cope with living with an alcoholic anymore. Claire went to live with her sister. Did the relaxing holiday help Claire and Anthony rebuild there marrige or was Anthony going to put the drink before them again? I would suggest that you read the book and find out it really is a great book to read.
