Horrid Henry

I have recently read a book called 'Horrid Henry Tricks The Tooth Fairy'. The book was written by Francesca Simon. The book was illustrated by Tony Ross. The book was a short story for children.

The book had text that was easy to read and understand. The book had a funny storyline and it kept both my kids hooked all the wayu through.

The book was all about Henry. Henry was upset. Henry thought that it wasn't fair that all his classmates, friends, neighbours and even his little brother were all losing teeth and getting a penny from the toothfaoiry and he wasn't. Henry tried everything he could think of to make his teeth fall out. Henry had eaten a full jar of sweets but still he had no slack, wobbly, loose or missing teeth. Henry tried to trick the toothfairy by stealing his little brother's tooth and putting it under his pillow, but even this didn't work and Henry still didn't get the penny that he so desperately wanted from the toothfairy. With Henry banned from eating sweets for a month, he was forced to eat apples. Do you know what happened when Henry bit into a nice juicy red apple?
